Our friend Greg Podgorny has been diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Conventional medicine provides no cure at this time, but there has recently been tremendous progress in ALS research, and we are confident that breakthroughs in medical treatment will benefit Greg. Furthermore, many resources indicate that through alternative treatments the progression of the disease can be slowed and even halted. Greg, as a positive and otherwise healthy person, is a perfect candidate for helping in this quest for effective treatment, and hopefully a cure.
For Greg, this is the fight of his lifetime. As a community we can do much to support his body, mind and spirit in every way we can. This includes raising funds for Greg to participate in alternative treatments his health insurance will not cover, travel for conventional and alternative treatments, and addressing other needs that may arise during this fight.
Greg and his family -‐ Moni, Siena and Slater -‐ are approaching this battle with a positive attitude and open hearts for our loving hands to help. In the months and years to come, there will be many opportunities for all of us to participate in this healing process, from providing financial support and organizing fundraisers to helping in their vineyard and around their house. Most importantly, your friendship and great thoughts are already helping!
Join us in supporting Greg’s healing process.
